Susanne Torstenssons performance Mother tree is about the evolution of ageing and reproduction. About the trees and the mycorrhizal symbiosis: as a sort of pathway for communication. Torstensson investigates also the social identity that Internet users establish in online communities and websites with her online identity BarbieMe. Sometimes BarbieMe appears offline, IRL in exhibitions with multiple artworks around the project - through performances, videos and with objects & sculptures.
